biography
Russell has always had an affinity for the Arts. In elementary school, he played Snoopy in You're A Good
Man, Charlie Brown
. And in high school, a successful run as Walter Hollander in Woody Allen's Don't Drink
the Water
would confirm to him what profession he was destined for. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in
Speech Communication and Theater Arts at York College, in Queens, New York. At York, Russell performed
the works of George C. Wolfe and the late August Wilson, to name a couple. His Senior-year performance of
Dario Fo's
The Story of a Tiger, a one-man, five-character, tour-de-force, would culminate his years of study.

Russell's professional acting career began in 2004, when he was cast in the Ward Picture Company's stage
production of
The Red Mollies. He has since appeared in numerous Off-Off Broadway plays, most recently
as Creon in Sophocles'
Antigone, as part the Henry Street Settlement/Abrons Arts Center's Downtown in the
Round: Shakespeare and Sophocles in the Summer program. And he made feature film debut in 2007 with
his portrayal of the punctilious CFO Brian in the highly acclaimed
Sarbane's Oxley (Honorable Mention -
2007 Hollywood Black Film Festival, Best Feature - 2007 Long Island International Film Expo, Best Feature -
2007 Evil City Film Festival).

Russell Jordan currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
